Additional Provision for Academic Honors

    1.      This is to inform you of an additional provision to qualify for Academic Honors. This ManCom approved guideline (item D) will now be included in the UA&P Student Handbook.

    2.      The new policy will read as follows:

Note: Students enrolled in the graduate programs of School of Education and Human Development must also get a grade of High Pass in their comprehensive examinations to be eligible for Academic Honors.

3.   In addition to the required GWAs, the students must:

a.      have received a passing mark for every subject credited by the University;

b.     have completed at least 75% of their program of studies at the University;

c.      have covered at least 75% of the required full semester credit load during any semester of their residency in the University except for a grave reason; and

d.    must not have had a major disciplinary case or an academic offense during their entire stay in the University.


4.      This will take effect after 30 days from the date of this announcement.

The Registrar’s Officeis enjoining ALL UA&P students (current freshmen who are incoming 2nd year except6YP, and all upper levels) to take the mandatory Pre-Enlistment Survey onApril 19 and 20, 2017 (Wednesday and Thursday).

The Pre-Enlistment Survey canbe accessed through the Student Portal ( from 8:00 a.m. on April 19 (Wednesday) until 11:59 p.m. ofApril 20(Thursday).

There are no assignedyear levels per day. This gives all students 40 hours of uninterrupted accessto be allowed to participate.

Students who do notanswer the Pre-Enlistment Survey will be blocked fromparticipating in the online enlistment for 1st Semester ofSY2017-2018. As such, they will only be able to enlist during on-campusenrollment.

The pre-enlistment processhelps the academic units to accurately project the number of subjects and slotsto be offered for the upcoming semester. We expect your usual support andcooperation.

Start of classes forSY2017-2018 is on August 7, 2017.

The pre-enlistmentsurvey schedule as earlier indicated in the academic calendar (June 27-28,2017) will no longer take place.

This is to inform all students of the Tuition fee payment through the Bank of the Philippine Islands:
        A.    Deposit your payment to any BPI branch nearest to your location.
        B.     Send your validated deposit slip with student name to any of the following:

2.    FUND TRANSFER PAYMENT:  This facility is applicable for Existing BPI Account Holders (Savings or Checking Accounts) with access to BPI Expressonline.
        A.    FIRST STEP is to ENROLL to Third Party Account which is UA&P.
        C.    THIR STEP is to Email or send through Fax the confirmation receipt with the Name of the Student to the following:

3.    Please refer to the attached screenshot of BPI procedure on Enrollment to Third Party Account and Transfer of funds

UA&P academic calendar to begin in August12/10/2015 4:35:21 PM

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has posed no objection to UA&P shifting the start of its school year from June to August beginning SY 2016-2017.

The first semester will begin on August 8, 2016.

There will be two summer terms during the transition in April to July 2016. The detailed calendar will be published once available.
