Hi REG Advisory: Pre-Enlistment Survey for Midyear Term 2020 and 1st Semester, SY 2020-2021

The Registrar’s Office enjoins all UA&P students (except 6YP Years 1 and 2) to accomplish the Pre-Enlistment Survey on April 13 and 14, 2020 (Monday and Tuesday). Current freshmen who will be sophomores by August 2020, as well as current 3-6YP students, must participate.
The Pre-Enlistment Survey can be accessed through the Student Portal (https://apps.uap.asia/student) from 8:00 a.m. on April 13 (Monday) until 11:59 p.m. on April 14 (Tuesday).
There are no assigned year levels per day. This gives all students 40 hours of uninterrupted access to be allowed to participate. If you experience any problem logging in or with your internet access, feel free to email Ms. Vanilene Mendoza at [email protected] or message the "UAP Registrar" account on Facebook.
The pre-enlistment process helps the academic units to accurately project the number of subjects and slots to be offered for the upcoming semester.
Start of classes for Midyear Term is on June 8, 2020 (Monday), and start of classes for 1st Semester of SY 2020-2021 is on August 3, 2020 (Monday).

In view of the online registration for the 2nd semester of SY 20-21, please refer to below for instructions:

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

1. Login using your uap.asia email address. Should you encounter login problems or uploading proof of payment problems, use the JitBit Chat Box to raise a ticket or send an email to
[email protected].

2. Make sure that your Student Profile Information in the system is correct.

3. Upload proof of payment only once. Duplicate uploads will delay the approval of your payment. Do not anymore send your proof of payments to FMR. This will cause duplicate work on the admin side.

4. Available Online Payment Modes

a.) Dragonpay (Online Banking and Payment Partners) - Once payment is validated, student is tagged as enrolled in EmpowerED: he/she can print his/her RC. Please note that there is a 1.8% convenience fee for local credit card and 2.8% for foreign credit card.

b.) Unionbank Payment Gateway (Credit Card - local and foreign issued). Once transaction is successful, the student is tagged as enrolled in EmpowerED; he/she can print his/her RC. Please note that there is a 1.8% convenience fee.

c.) Deposit to UA&P Bank Account - BPI and Unionbank. Student need to upload proof of payment and allow FMR a lead time of 48 hours to validate against bank statement and approve proof of payment. Once proof of payment is approved, the student can print his/her RC.

5. Should the student encounter any issue or have questions related to EmpowerED or his/her enrollment, please do the following:

a.) Please click on the JitBit chat box to send a ticket to the Enlistment Support Team. Should there be a need to raise the issue to the appropriate UA&P departments (Registrar, FMR, ICT or Academic Advisers). Feedback will be given to the student through JitBit Chat or the student's email address.

b.) Another way to raise a ticket to the Enlistment Support Team is by sending an email to
[email protected].

c.) Should there be a delay in the response or raised issue is taking too long, student can escalate to [email protected] or [email protected] of the ICT Department.

d.) For those students with unsettled tuition and miscellaneous fees, please check with FMR your unsettled balance and pay it before the end of the 1st semester.

6. For Scholars, please make sure that your status is OK and you have no pending requirements.

Dear Students,

We will be performing a maintenance update on the main registration database starting tomorrow evening, October 16, until Monday, October 19. We are requesting all students who have still unresolved issues in CANVAS like duplicate sections or missing subjects to report these discrepancies not later than 12 noon tomorrow, to allow the Registrar's Office and the Academic Technologies Section to complete the changes before the maintenance activity starts. Please send these reports to the following offices: Registrar's Office ([email protected]) and Academic Technologies Office ([email protected]).

Please note, however, that we will no longer entertain requests for transfer of sections to those affected by overbooked classes unless a conflict of schedule, as we are already on our Day 5 of the first week of classes.

Unresolved issues reported later than noon tomorrow will be addressed on Tuesday morning, October 20.

Dear Students,
Welcome to Term 2 of the 1st Semester 2020-2021!
In preparation for the start of Term 2 on Oct. 12, Monday, the Registrar’s Office will auto-publish all courses for Term 2 by tomorrow, October 10, so that you view your enlisted subjects in Canvas.
Please take note that some of you will see changes in your schedule, i e., transfer to other sections so as to maximize your learning in a more efficient manner. This does not necessarily mean a change of time slot.
However,  if for some unavoidable reason and for a very few students, this will result in a conflict of schedule with your other courses, rest assured that the Faculty in charge of a course or section where a conflict of schedule could not be avoided will find a way to hold synchronous activities at a time and day during this term common to all students in his/her particular section. This has been cleared with the few teachers concerned.

Reg Advisory on the Upcoming 1st Semester SY 2020-2021

In preparation for the start of classes, please take note of the following reminders:

1. Classes will be full online throughout the 1st semester of SY 2020-2021. A combination of synchronous and asynchronous classes will be observed.

2. The enlistment schedule from August 3 to August 7 may be viewed here:

3. A new registration system called EmpowerED will be implemented. Students can get additional support online by sending a message on a live chat box called Jitbit. It is an online help desk that has an email ticketing system. The UA&P enlistment team composed of student volunteers will provide an information campaign before enrollment week to orient you on the look and feel of EmpowerED. They will also be around during enrollment.

4. The academic calendar is accessible through this link:

5. Class schedules will be posted on Monday, July 27. Please note that most of the classes will be offered in mini-terms, i.e. Term 1 will start August 10 and end on October 7; Term 2 will start October 12 and end on December 12. Some Schools opted for a full semester (August 10-December 12) while others will have a combination of mini-term and a full term. This is an exceptional arrangement given the nature of the current circumstances we are in.
