Mandatory Pre-Enlistment Survey11/5/2018 3:56:45 PM

The Registrar’s Office is enjoining ALL UA&P students(except freshmen and 6YP Years 1, 2 and 3) to accomplish the mandatoryPre-Enlistment Survey on Nov. 8 and 9, 2018 (Thursday and Friday).

The Pre-Enlistment Survey can be accessed through theStudent Portal (http://apps.uap.asia/student)from 8:00 a.m. on Nov. 8 (Thursday) until 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 9 (Friday).

There are no assigned year levels per day. This gives allstudents 40 hours of uninterrupted access to be allowed to participate.

Students who do not answer the Pre-Enlistment Survey will beblocked from participating in the online enlistment for 2nd Semester ofSY2018-2019. As such, they will only be able to enlist during on-campusenrollment.

The pre-enlistment process helps the academic units toaccurately project the number of subjects and slots to be offered for theupcoming semester. We expect your usual support and cooperation.

Start of classes for the 2nd Semester of SY2018-2019 is onJanuary 14, 2019.

Procedures for Filing Clearance for Graduation
For students who have not yet submitted
their clearance forms:
1.The deadline of submission for clearances to REG is set on July 3, 2018. For those with pending academic requirements 
(due to thesis completion, internship, mid-year classes), they are given until July 9. However, if a student is not able to comply, she/he is advised to leave the clearance to his/her program. For proper monitoring, all Program Directors (PD) are to assign a designated person to monitor the compliance of the student. Clearances to be forwarded to REG by July 9 should include an attachment in the clearance forms indicating the date of expected completion of the student’s academic deficiencies.
2.On July 10, REG will submit the tentative list of the graduating students to Inkwell Publishing.
3.The final reckoning for those who will graduate will be monitored by the PD, in close collaboration with REG.
4.By July 16. REG will forward to MANCOM the final list of graduates, no more changes will be entertained after this date.

Additional Provision for Academic Honors

    1.      This is to inform you of an additional provision to qualify for Academic Honors. This ManCom approved guideline (item D) will now be included in the UA&P Student Handbook.

    2.      The new policy will read as follows:

Note: Students enrolled in the graduate programs of School of Education and Human Development must also get a grade of High Pass in their comprehensive examinations to be eligible for Academic Honors.



3.   In addition to the required GWAs, the students must:

a.      have received a passing mark for every subject credited by the University;

b.     have completed at least 75% of their program of studies at the University;

c.      have covered at least 75% of the required full semester credit load during any semester of their residency in the University except for a grave reason; and

d.    must not have had a major disciplinary case or an academic offense during their entire stay in the University.

 

4.      This will take effect after 30 days from the date of this announcement.
